From the Executive Officer

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Never before have community colleges been more integral in addressing the skills gap identified in today’s workforce.  Our community colleges are rising to even greater heights; creating degree and certificate programs that are helping more than 190,000 students meet their educational goals (whether the focus is on degree programs or non-credit training), and at the same time of meeting workforce demand.  While our community colleges have created strong partnerships and collaborations within their region; the Massachusetts Community Colleges Executive Office (MCCEO) has also sought out opportunities on a statewide basis to develop new partnerships and enhance existing relationships that benefit our segment as a whole.

This website highlights many important activities and initiatives undertaken by MCCEO on behalf of the 15 community colleges.  I invite you to explore the site to learn about our numerous undertakings; such as the $20 million dollar U.S. DOL grant awarded to help further design and deliver industry specific programs.
